Introduction

In-vehicle SystemWith the rapid growth of automobile technology, in-vehicle infotainment system is increasingly prevalent in transportation field like fleet management, logistic and warehouse. Such application requires the most robust and reliable solution due to the severe working condition. There are three major factors in this type of application, which are hazardous power input, seamless connectivity, and tough environment support.
ISO-7637 with Ignition Control Solution for Power Input
Axiomtek's eBOX310-830-FL passed the rigorous ISO-7637 certification, met worldwide vehicle EMS standard, including Pulse 1, 2a, 2b, 3b, 4 (level 3 & 4), 5a (173V). It supports 9~36V wide-range DC input, ultra-low leakage current (under 5mA) and rich power protections, such as battery low protection, over current/temperature protection and more. For custom requirements, we offer a remote power-on and ACC (ignition control) function as well.
Expansion Solution for Seamless Connectivity
There are many methods of communication, such as GPS, GSM/GPRS, 3G/3.5G, WiFi, WiMAX, Bluetooth, provide seamless connectivity capability. The eBOX310-830-FL supports dual internal PCI Express Mini Card, and three SMA type connector openings, allowing operators to easily install different communication module based on demand. It also supports both SATA HDD and CompactFalshTM for storage capacity.
Robust Solution for Tough Environment
With the high performance Intel® 945GME architecture, the eBOX310-830-FL adopts Intel® Core™2 Duo processor up to 2.33 GHz and supports up to 50°C of working temperature. In addition, the vibration-resistant design for HDD can bear up to 2Grms for X, Y, Z directions, each axis 1 hour, to provide better data protection and extend HDD's life.

Our Solution

The eBOX310-830-FL compact in-vehicle box computer is for in-vehicle use. To further ensure its implementation for in-vehicle applications, the fanless eBOX310-830-FL is certified with E-Mark Certification (E-13) and ISO-7637 power standard, which certifies it compatible with other vehicle components and meets tier-1 car maker's requirement. In addition, the design of power module incorporates a MCU microprocessor for power control. The unit is powered by an Intel® Core™2 Duo processor with the Intel® 945GME and ICH7M chipsets. One 200-pin DIMM socket supports up to 2GB DDR2 400/533 DRAM for high memory bandwidth. The eBOX310-830-FL with anti-vibration up to 2Grms (with HDD) and excellent thermal resistance is an all-in-one in-vehicle computer for use in any car, truck, bus or even for maritime applications.
