City of Industry, Calif., Sept. 29, 2020 – Axiomtek, a leading design and manufacturing company of innovative, high performance and reliable PC-based industrial computer products, is proud to introduce the MVS900-511-FL, its fanless machine vision system with real-time vision I/O and camera interfaces. Its vision I/O includes trigger input, trigger output, LED lighting control, quadrature encoder input and isolated DIO. It is equipped with four IEEE802.3at GbE LAN ports (PoE) and is fully flexible and compatible with most leading cameras designed for vision applications. The MVS900-511-FL is feature-rich, scalable and is a great choice for systems integrators, OEMs and ODMs to use in various smart applications including those for automation, medical and IIoT. By adding the support of the Intel® OpenVINO™ toolkit, it can be trained and perform inference to catch defects and flawed parts, enhancing efficiency and quality on a production line.
The flexible MVS900-511-FL has scalable processing powers with a choice of LGA1151 socket 7th/6th generation Intel® Core™ processors or Celeron® processor (up to 65W) with the Intel® H110 chipset. It has advanced features that offer system integrators easy configuration to meet the requirements of their projects with quick deployment. The MVS900-511-FL can operate under sequential control and be synchronized with four cameras. Its integrated lighting controller comes with both strobe mode and trigger mode, which can support various types of LEDs.
The advanced vision system has dual DDR4-2133/2400 unbuffered SO-DIMM sockets for up to 32GB of system memory and two 2.5" swappable HDDs for extensive storage needs. It has a front I/O design for easy maintenance. The MVS900-511-FL is feature-rich with two GbE LANs, two RS-232/422/48, one isolated 8-in/8-out DIO, four USB 3.0, one HDMI, one VGA, one Mic-in, one Line-out and one internal USB connector. It also has a power switch, remote switch, reset switch, 3-pin terminal block and an AT/ATX quick switch. The robust IP40-rated MVS900-511-FL has a wide operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C. This reliable vision system supports Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 for enhanced security.
“With the advancement of AI technology, manufacturers increasingly look to machine vision solutions to expand their inspection capabilities to increase yield, improve product quality and increase operational efficiency. The MVS900-511-FL is designed to meet their standards. This machine vision system achieves seamless interoperability between cameras and vision devices through the integrated real-time vision I/O,” said Wayne Chung, a product manager of the Vision Systems Division at Axiomtek. “The MVS900-511-FL is equipped with an advanced encoder operating mode with high-speed trigger function and flexible lighting control to allow captured images to be clear and free of distortion.
