Axiomtek USA has launched its newest SMARC v2.0 module, the SCM180. Led by the local design engineering team, the product was conceived and manufactured in the US in support of the region’s rising preferences for a mobile, RISC-based SOM with rich features such as those of the SCM180’s. The US design engineering team recognized the needs and developed the SCM180 to serve our region’s growing demands for products with a balance of quality, versatility and usability.
The SCM180 is among the best in its class. It delivers a unique combination of versatility, enhanced security and ruggedness not commonly seen in similar modules in the market. It features Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for optimum security with a discrete, dedicated microcontroller designed to support hardware encryption and decryption. It is scalable, with a choice of quad- or dual-core Arm® Cortex®-A53 processors. Axiomtek is proud to have been selected as the key strategic hardware provider by Alert Innovation, the company Walmart has entrusted with their quest to revolutionize the retail industry. Alert Innovation has developed the Alphabot® system, a highly efficient, “first-of-its-kind” robotic system designed to automate Walmart’s online grocery storage and fulfillment.
Alert Innovation has been working closely with Axiomtek’s Eastern region business unit, Axiomtek Systems. The Alert team recognizes Axiomtek for their business ethics and customer-centric approach.
