Regional Sales Manager- Southeast

Position Summary:

Technical outside sales role focused on territory management, targeted tier one prospecting, qualifying, and closing business in new OEM accounts and up-selling in existing strategic accounts.  Local (regional) travel required. Geography includes:  Axiomtek Southeast Region: FL, GA, AL, MS, TN, SC, NC, WV, OK, TX, LA, AR

Core Competence:

  • Create large account opportunities by utilizing direct and indirect Axiomtek resources and products.
  • Prospect for potential $75K +/yr customers by leveraging professional network of contacts.
  • Direct opportunities under $75K/yr. to Axiomtek Inside Sales or Regional Channel Partner.
  • Outbound call generation and lead follow up. Understand buying influences in potential accounts.
  • Accurate and timely forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • Background in embedded computer HW/SW, emphasis on “open architecture computing”. CPUs- Intel x86, AMD, network interfaces, flat panels, computer packaging, PCI, PCI-E, ISA, Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge in vertical domains such as transportation, automation, medical, gaming, digital signage etc. are desired.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or equivalent certification and experience.

Application Engineer

Position Summary:

The Application Engineer (AE) is a key technical member of the Sales “Team”. This is a pre and post-sales technical position requiring a strong mix of both engineering and interpersonal skills. Frequent customer interaction is required. The candidate must possess problem solving abilities as it relates to HW/SW design challenges associated with the use of Axiomtek products in customer applications.  Travel is required.  This position will be for our office in Methuen, MA.

Core Competence:

  • Assist in the technical qualification of customer projects as presented by the Sales Team.
  • Provide “best fit” recommendation of Axiomtek products based on the customer’s requirements
  • Support the sales cycle with solid technical due diligence and strong customer interaction
  • Assist the Project Manager in the proposal generation process by providing configuration input
  • Facilitate problem resolution through on site troubleshooting efforts or by utilizing remote Axiomtek engineering resources
  • Conduct benchmarks and compatibility testing of customer supplied HW and/or SW
  • Assist in the creation of integration documents which will serve as the build “blueprint”.
  • Evaluate new product releases from Axiomtek HQ
  • Communicate with headquarters on product and technical issues

 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or with 2 to 3 years-related experience and/or training.
  • Major in computer science/engineering or electrical/electronic engineering.
  • The role requires strong customer relations skills, some technical background, and an ability to effectively contribute and communicate in a professional team environment.
  • Some knowledge of embedded systems and understanding of the open architecture HW standards such as PCI, ISA, PCIe, PC/104, ATX, PICO-ITX, 3.5”, EPIC, PCIMG, ComExpress, ETX, as well as working experience with popular operating systems such as XPe, WinNT, Win 7, DOS, Linux,. 
  • Ability to assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot PC hardware, including CPU, Memory, Main Boards, IO Cards and etc. 
  • Knowledge of system BIOS and driver implementation is important.

Application Engineer Internship

Position Summary:

Axiomtek is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, paid internship with the opportunity to develop into a permanent position. We will provide training and work experience in the field of embedded systems and industrial PCs to benefit your skill set and resume. Application Engineer’s perform the following job duties: Release new products.  Provide technical support and training to customers and employees. Fully support all sales activities upon request.  Also, perform other technical related services.  This internship will be for our office in City of Industry, CA.

Training Provided in the Following Areas:

  • Fully support all sales activities, such as trade show, customer training and develop sales kit.
  • Support all products for sales including porting, system engineering and modification.
  • Answer technical requests from customers and issue Customer Special Request to Production dept.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers, sales and production department
  • Conduct technical issues on customer projects and help salespeople to pre-qualify customer projects.
  • Evaluate and release new products from overseas or local market.
  • Provide new product trainings for sales and production department.
  • Provide product trainings for new salesperson.
  • Communicate with headquarter for product and technical issues.
  • Conduct training courses for customers and related personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Student or recent graduate.
  • Majoring in computer science/engineering or electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Excellent verbal/written skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble PC hardware, including CPU, Memory, Main Boards, IO Cards and etc.
  • Knowledge of Industrial computer and application a plus. 
  • Knowledge of PC software, including Windows Linux, all Embedded OS, DOS, Networking, BIOS, drivers and Microsoft office suite a plus.

Regional Account Manager

Position Summary:

This is a diverse technical sales role with a focus on organic new business development.  As a key sales enabler, the Regional Account Manager (RAM) will provide essential prospecting initiatives in the designated region(s) or named account base. The RAM will focus on direct and indirect new account discovery, opportunity development, and order closure. Additionally, the RAM will leverage his/her upselling abilities to identify and penetrate new opportunities in existing accounts.  It is expected that the role involves superior knowledge of the sales cycle, creative prospecting, relationship development, and account penetration. Although some leads will be provided by the VP to the RAM, through marketing and web site sources, it is expected that over 50% of the new opportunities be generated by organic methods such as cold calling, trade show attendance, industry networking, channel networking and other business development efforts. The RAM must be knowledgeable in Axiomtek products, markets served, and an expert in internal processes.  This role will require both inside and outside sales skills. Some travel is required.

Account Manager- DMS Team

Position Summary:

This role will require both inside and outside sales skills in managing sales activities of the organization.  Some travel is required.  This position will be located in our Las Vegas, NV office.

Core Competence:

  • Sales support for Gaming – order processing, product scheduling and logistics management.
  • Develops and validates viable business models for business partnerships and acquisitions.
  • Seeks out and researches prospective projects through phone calls, travel, attending conferences, and utilizing the Internet.
  • Works closely with internal departments, such as marketing and engineering, and external partners and allies in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and business models.
  • Estimates demand for proposed projects based on market research and consumer trends.
  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.

Marketing Assistant

This position will be for our office in City of Industry, CA.  Primary job responsibility will be to support and provide production of planned marketing programs by performing the following duties.

Core Competence:

  • Assist in carrying out marketing plans as requested to achieve the department goals and corporate objectives.
  • Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, support content marketing, graphical design efforts as well as branding – content writing skills including articles, blogs, social media updates and advertisement copy writing and graphical software knowledge desirable.

  • Assist in the management of Axiomtek’s Google AdWords and other SEM campaigns to enhance lead generation.

  • Research and provide reports on a variety of marketing activities

Qualifications:

Inside Sales -DMS Team

Position Summary:

This is an inside sales role with direct accountability to the DMS team.  As a key sales enabler, the Inside Salesperson will provide essential support to the team. The person in this role will need to have a good fundamental knowledge of the sales cycle in order to assist the outside sales team in the closing of new business as well as maintaining existing business. Some travel for tradeshows is required for this position.

Core Competence:

  • General sales support
  • Order processing, product scheduling, logistics management
  • Manage customer accounts and develop business relationship with assigned customers.
  • Lead qualification by answering all inbound calls and emails forwarded over by marketing.
  • Assist outside sales team in any capacity as it related to the development of new business.
  • Identify retention and penetration opportunities in existing accounts
  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and DMS team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Other duties related to sales/marketing activities may be assigned by the supervisor.
