Production Technician

Position Summary:

This position will be for our office in City of Industry, CA.  Primary job responsibilities include integration, testing and troubleshooting industrial computers.

Core Competence:

  • Performs assembly and testing of single board computers, embedded PC's, panel PC's, industrial chassis and workstations, PC104 modules and data acquisition products as assigned by production supervisor.
  • Confers with quality assurance personnel in proper and efficient way of integration of industrial PC components.
  • Confers with production support technician in resolving problems relating to proper operation of equipment under test.
  • Examines parts and accessories for conformance with specifications. Alerts quality assurance personnel when necessary.
  • Maintains tools and equipment in assigned work area.
  • Performs other duties related to job function as may be necessary

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibility. 

Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a similar degree in related field are preferred.  Comptia A+ certification is a plus.
  • No experience required.  Training will be provided.
  • Experience/knowledge of desktop, laptop hardware and software a plus. Positive attitude and willing to learn, grow and self-discipline.
  • Must be fluent in English speaking and must be able to write and communicate effectively with various department, employees and customers. 
  • Proficient in Mandarin speaking and reading Chinese characters is a plus.

Inside Sales

Position Summary:

This is an inside sales role with direct accountability to the DMS team.  As a key sales enabler, the Inside Salesperson will provide essential support to the team. The person in this role will need to have a good fundamental knowledge of the sales cycle in order to assist the outside sales team in the closing of new business as well as maintaining existing business. Some travel for tradeshows is required for this position.

Core Competence:

  • General sales support
  • Order processing, product scheduling, logistics management
  • Manage customer accounts and develop business relationship with assigned customers.
  •  Lead qualification by answering all inbound calls and emails forwarded over by marketing.
  • Assist outside sales team in any capacity as it related to the development of new business.
  • Identify retention and penetration opportunities in existing accounts
  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and DMS team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Other duties related to sales/marketing activities may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or equivalent certification and experience is desirable.  2-4 years related sales experience in industry.
  • Fluent in English is required - excellent oral and written communication skills.  Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish is a plus.  Excellent customer service and follow-up skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients and customers.  High level of initiative and works well in a team environment.
  • Background in embedded computer HW and SW, with emphasis on “open architecture computing", X86, Intel, VIA, AMD, NICs, Flat Panels, computer packaging, PCI, PCI-E, ISA, Operating Systems is a plus.
  • Required: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, general internet and computer knowledge. Desirable: SAP

Regional Channel Manager

Position Summary:

This position located in our City of Industry, CA office.  The Regional Channel Manager (RCM) position is a challenging and diverse technical sales role that involves both direct and indirect sales activity.  This role will require both inside and outside sales skills.  Some travel is required.

  • New account development as well as upselling in existing mid-tier accounts

  • Lead contact and qualification
  • Develop and maintain partner/channel relationships
  • Proposal generation, sales pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Assist with project planning within account base

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification and/or experience.
  • Strong oral, written and relationship building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel, Power Point, and knowledge of general internet and computer usage
  • Background in industrial and embedded computer, with emphasis on X86 and RISC architecture technology, PCI, PCIe, IO, Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge in SAP and Salesforce are a plus.

Regional Account Manager

Position Summary:

This is a diverse technical sales role with a focus on organic new business development.  As a key sales enabler, the Regional Account Manager (RAM) will provide essential prospecting initiatives in the designated region(s) or named account base. The RAM will focus on direct and indirect new account discovery, opportunity development, and order closure. Additionally, the RAM will leverage his/her upselling abilities to identify and penetrate new opportunities in existing accounts.  It is expected that the role involves superior knowledge of the sales cycle, creative prospecting, relationship development, and account penetration. Although some leads will be provided by the VP to the RAM, through marketing and web site sources, it is expected that over 50% of the new opportunities be generated by organic methods such as cold calling, trade show attendance, industry networking, channel networking and other business development efforts. The RAM must be knowledgeable in Axiomtek products, markets served, and an expert in internal processes.  This role will require both inside and outside sales skills. Some travel is required.

Warehouse Associate

Position Summary:

This is a full-time position in our office in City of Industry, CA.  The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.  Perform other duties related to job function as necessary.

Core Competence:

  • Verify quantity and items received are identical to purchase order form and upload serial numbers if necessary.
  • Upload serial numbers and verify billing, shipping date, address and other related items on sales orders.
  • Ensure correct items are picked up when pulling sales orders and copy serial numbers as necessary.
  • Follow “FIRST IN, FIRST OUT” rule to organize racks and aisles when stocking inventory.
  • Ensure right items are in saleable condition and right locations during inventory count.
  • Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials.
  • Inspect physical condition of shipping equipment.
  • Work in a high volume shipping operation with high accuracy standards. Pick, pack and ship customer orders and use of FedEx and UPS systems, or schedule trucking, DHL, pick up.
  • Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of shipping activities with activities of other functions such as Integration, QA, warehouse, sales, accounting and purchasing.
  • Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Guarantee all products going in and out of company are accompanied with paper work or record, such as sales order, purchasing order or borrowing note.
  • Assist warehouse to pull orders and count and organize inventory.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist supervisor in solving work problems.
  • Keep working area clean.
  • Perform other duties related to job function as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be a high school graduate, preferably with Associate Degree
  • Good verbal and written communication. 
  • Solid reading skills – must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
  • Basic computer literate and math skill. 
  • Must have a CA driver license and good driving record. 
  • Experience with forklifts is a plus.
  • Ability to understand and execute instructions.
  • General understanding of the warehouse and footprint
  • Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices
