It not only supports a 4K UHD triple display but also a PCIe x16 slot, users can install a GPU card to achieve higher performance.
The mBOX600 is based on the COM Express Type 6 SoM, which allows fast upgrades and ensures a long life cycle of the system. The system features the 9th/8th Gen Intel® CoreTM i7/i5 processor and has one HDMI and two DisplayPort++ with 4K UHD for an extraordinary viewing experience. To meet the needs of medical image analysis, the mBOX600 has a PCIe x16 slot for a discrete GPU or a frame grabber. Via the test, the system is compatible with the Nvidia Quadro P1000 GPU to obtain delicate images for accurate diagnosis. The two DDR4 non-ECC SO-DIMM slots allow the system memory up to 64GB to ensure high performance.
To enable a Wi-Fi connection, it is equipped with one full-size mini PCIe card slot for a Wi-Fi module and supports two SMA-type antenna connectors. In terms of connectivity, the two COM and LAN ports support isolation for better data security and interference. Four USB 3.1 and two audio jacks are also available. To meet the need for bigger storage space, the mBOX600 supports one 2.5" SATAIII and one M.2 Key M 2280 NVMe SSD slot.
Among medical grade systems, the mBOX600 has a relatively compact size, making it easy and fast for deployment. Optional antimicrobial coating and a white streamlined design are perfect for hospital applications. What’s more, the heatsink has been designed to place under the chassis. Therefore, the design prevents dust from accumulating on the system, ensuring good hygiene in the field sites such as hospitals and labs. It supports Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM) to provide hardware-based data protection, along with OS support for Windows® 10 IoT and Linux operating systems. “We expect the mBOX600 to enhance AI-assisted diagnoses such as image analysis and bone age assessment in hospitals to benefit the patients.
